UK Choir of the Year is a not-for-profit organisation but we are not a Charity. That is why we want to support other charities that both align with our values, but also are relevant to our world - whether that be choirs, singing, or music in general. We are delighted to announce our support for:

Here at UK Choir of the Year we know first hand the profound impact singing in a choir has on your mental health (in a good way!). That’s why we will be donating a percentage of our profits from the competition to the charity: The Choir With No Name. You will also be able to donate to them at the venue on the day.

The Choir with No Name runs choirs across the UK, creating joyful singing communities with people affected by homelessness and marginalisation. Their choirs offer a safe, welcoming space to sing your heart out when you’re going through a tough time; building confidence, belonging and purpose. 

They all also sit down together afterwards for a cuppa and a hot meal, prepared by their volunteers. 

The choir has changed so many people’s lives and we are so thrilled to be able to support them and help get their name out there. The work they do is so important and we hope you can support them too.
